Who needs a time machine when you can sift through your own grandfather’s life?
Through my family’s home videos, I am able to seamlessly move from memory to memory. My grandfather was a rodeo clown who recorded the world around him. He left behind reels of film from his life. These artifacts have become a driving force in my practice of translating, interpreting, and exploring my own familial history.
